What exactly is AC worth?

100 AC = $1, fixed. AC is the platform currency and it is backed in full by the Reserve Fund, so it is not a score or a game token.

Can I lose money?

Yes. Asset prices move with the market, and a price can fall. Nothing here guarantees a return, and only ELITE and ELITE PLUS can take value out at all.

How is the price decided?

A price is arithmetic, not opinion: price = an asset's weight x the market pool / its shares. The weight blends four signals — Trading Demand 35%, User Interest 25%, Partner Activity 20% and Real-World Performance 20%. Because the weights always sum to one, no asset can outrun the market it belongs to — and anyone can recompute the price from the published weight, pool and share count.

What is the Asset Dividend?

5% a quarter, shared among active ELITE and ELITE PLUS members in proportion to their average AC balance during the quarter, and paid on the fifth business day after quarter end.

Is this a betting product?

No. Athletica is an exchange: you buy and sell a share in an asset at a price the market sets. There is no bookmaker and no odds.
